The Venus Bay Community Centre are thrilled to be hosting the ART CUBES from 24 January to 26 April 2025. This initiative by South Gippsland Shire Council offers 3 x cubes for 3 months in various locations around the Shire. The focus for our Cubes will be creative responses to waste.

Located at the corner of Jupiter Boulevard and Centre Road, this dynamic initiative aims to create an engaging and interactive space for locals, seasonal visitors, and artists.

These residencies will provide dedicated time to explore innovative ideas and create impactful works of art. As a cube resident, you’ll engage directly with the community and spark important conversations about sustainability.

It’s not to late! We are calling out to:

• Performers: Buskers, singers, spoken word artists, and theatre groups.

• Creators & Makers: Visual artists, crafters, and anyone passionate about transforming waste into art.

• Workshop Facilitators: Artists who would like to lead hands-on creative sessions for the public.

Join us in transforming the conversation around waste into a celebration of art, community, and sustainability! Let’s come together to create a vibrant Carnival of Creativity and make a meaningful impact on our small town.
