Welcome Venus Bay Community Centre

Everyone is welcome at the Venus Bay Community Centre, where we aim to engage members

of the community through our community development activities and programs which include:

• Publish a free monthly community newsletter: Matter of Fact

• Food Culture: sustaining local communities program

• Community Recycling Op Shop

• Community activities like art groups, craft, Zumba, holiday activities for children

• Community garden, orchard and gathering space

• Broadband for Seniors and Public Internet access

• Foster and promote support for other community groups

• A welcoming place to gather and flexible space for community use

We hope to be recognised by the community as a place where connections are made and

opportunities are realised.

Hours of opening

Our office is open regularly on Mondays, Wednesday and Thursdays from 9.30 am to 3.30 pm. If you need to contact us outside those hours, leave a message on the answering machine or use email. We open at many other times thanks to the help of volunteers. If the front door is open, please feel welcome to come in and make yourself known.
