The Victorian Government Department of Transport and Planning – through the Flexible Transport Solutions Program have provided funds to secure the 2 electric mini- buses for Venus Bay and Sandy Point. iMOVE Cooperative Research Centre along with LaTrobe University have provided funds to undertake the 2-year research component of the project. This is an investment of over $650,000 and demonstrates a partnership approach and willingness to work with local communities to address real issues relating to transport. There will be a significant in-kind volunteer commitment and contribution from the local communities to make this work.
