VOLUNTEERING

Why volunteer at VBCC?

While we do have some part time staff members, most of what we do relies on our marvellous volunteers, who help us create a vibrant and welcoming community hub; we truly value and appreciate our volunteers.

There are many ways you can be involved at the Venus Bay Community Centre; we have a range of existing and emerging programs and activities that might suit your interests, passion or expertise.

Volunteering can help you make new friends, learn new skills, advance your career, and even feel happier and healthier. VBCC Volunteers help in a variety of areas including:

  • Community Recycling Enterprise

  • Plants & Garden

  • Administration

  • Sustainability

  • Seasonal activities

  • Community Activities and Events

  • Building and grounds

If you would like to join our team of volunteers please contact the Centre on 5663 7499 or register your interest here.

Below is a list of some of the things we currently do, and that (with a little support from you) can start happening.
